Last Blooms of Winter

A gentle rain fell today signaling the beginning of winter for Southern California. After the storm passed I took a walk around the yard and snapped some photos of the last flowers of fall.
The were taken with a Nikon D850 and the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 G that arrived today from MPB. Props to MPB for sending me an absolute PERFECT lens. It is like new. You be the judge.

Thank you HistoryLover! I bought that concrete turtle about 3 years ago for my Grandson to sit on. I have been taking photos over time. He is now 4 years old and it is nice to compare his size to the turtle.
