Every year in April I visit what I think is the best place to photograph nesting osprey. This past season I went out in my kayak with my 600f4, A9, and A7RIV. (yes I took all that gear out in my kayak) The results I got from the Sony gear was simply astounding. I give you a front row seat in the video below! Enjoy.

There was another thread about shutter / exposure lag with the mirrorless cameras & Nikon mirrorless in particular. How are the Sony cameras you mention here in that regard? Thanks in advance for any replies.

The Sony A9 and the Canon EOS r5 are the only two cameras that have zero lag in my epxerience. The a7riv does have a slight lag but it is manageable. I have used the Z7 and Z6 and while they are usable, they are no where near the Sony and Canon mirrorless offerings mentioned above.
