Getting some photos together for possible inclusion in a 2021 calendar. Point Cabrillo is beautiful any time of day but especially at dusk. I also did a B&W version using Silver Efex Pro with Fuji Acros film simulation. The small band of orangey sunset gives the color photo the edge for me.

They are both good, but I like the color, Joe.

Last time I was there, they were experiencing a drought in the Mendocino area.

We've been going to Mendo and Ft. Bragg area for about 25 years. This year was the first in many years that we did not drive across the country to spend time with family there. It's a beautiful area, especially at cocktail hour and sunsets.

Here's some of the reasons why.

Joe, I agree that the small band of orangey sunset gives the color photo the edge for me also. It is a perfect dusk image. Perfect to hang in your home.Stay safe and well. Stan

Both excellent renderings of the great capture, but I agree that the colour one has the edge on the B&W.

Looks like you have about twenty five good reasons to go there, Fred.

I fell in love with the area years ago but have only been able to get there twice. Post quarantine, I’m going to plan a trip.
