Hatch in a nearby wildlife refuge.
Cutest little birds. These are chicks born this spring.
The adults are quite a bit larger. The chicks are hilarious... they look like a parade..
One behind the other and they run up and down the beach.

These are sanderlings, not piping plovers. Piping plovers have orange legs and shorter beaks.
