There's nothing like a detached observer to show us what's really going on.
Have a look at
THIS from Australia.
Thank you for a sane voice.
My wife has been following campaigning/e******n reporting for weeks. She was glad to find Australian news stations where the reporting is so refreshingly unbiased.
Paulrf1 and ELNikkor, I get the impression that most people don't realise just how much the mainstream media (and others) are trying to manipulate how the public perceives what's going on. It needs somebody from outside to provide unbiased commentary.

I am finding what you say to be more true everyday.
The US media has turned to complete garbage in the last decade or more - a couple of very interesting (if not aggravating) books on the subject are, IMHO, worth reading:
Unfreedom of the Press by Mark Levin
The Smear: How Shady Political Operatives and F**e News Control What You See, What You Think, and How You V**e by Sharyl Attkisson
Slanted: How the News Media Taught Us to Love Censorship and H**e Journalism is Attkisson's new book, due out in a week or so - and no doubt will be worthy reading

Not only do we have f**e news, we now have f**e science as evidenced by the daily contradictory statements issued by the CDC and WHO.

Only on the same sense that PRAVDA and the VOLKISCHER BEOBACHTER were news.

Just because the news comes from Australia, is delivered with a lovely accent, does not make it unbiased. Sky News was created by Rupert Murdoch, the same man who brought us Fox News. The analysis from Sky News may well be accurate and perceptive; but for those of you who hear it as the gospel I offer my pity. It is another example of your need to hear only what you like and want. Confirmation bias is d******e and unhelpful.

News is naught but an advertising medium.
