Ellie wanted a “serious” portrait....
...or at least that’s what I surmised from her expression when she started posing in my lap a few minutes ago!

Dave, Great serious portrait of Ellie. Super sharp and nice composition and color.Stan
That’s a great “serious” portrait of Ellie. But how serious can a Pug be? LOL. We had a pug once, named Cooper, and he was anything but serious. For Cooper, life was one big party.

Thanks. Stan,
It was the first time that I had tried my iPhone’s “Portrait” mode... and I’m impressed!
The distracting BG above and behind her was nicely blurred, but still distracting so I just use the paintbrush in the basic Lightroom Mobile edit menu to paint a soft edged mask and then moved the exposure slider all the way to the left to darken the masked area. I was surprised how easy it was!

And I seriously appreciate your comment!

Great rendering of a super "serious" portrait. Amazing detail for a shot at 1/15s.1 Great image stabilization on the iPhone 11 you are using. Stay well and keep them coming!

Great shot, makes me miss my pug Georgie.
Yes; I always had BIG dogs all my life, Mastiffs, Danes, Mastinos, as well as upland game bird pointing breeds (and bassets for rabbits), but as I became less steady, we gradually replaced the dear departed with these mini-mastiffs! And amazingly wonderful wee beasties they are!
