Every so often I get a Gas attack and it usually has to do with analog equipment. Newest purchases, both in the early shipping stages: a 24mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor from KEH, which will primarily be for my 2 film Nikons (F6 and FE) and not so much for my D7100. I got an email from KEH today promoting the lens and it was too good a deal to turn down. And it’ll make a great light weight walkaround combo for the FE. Other purchase is the one I am more excited about: via eBay from Japan: Fuji GW690 with 90mm f/3.5. Simple, manual, one lens, compact for a large MF. I’ve already got the MF format mostly covered: 645 (Bronica ETRSi), 6x6 (Rolleicord III) and 6x7 (Pentax 6x7 vintage 1979). Plenty of lenses for the Bronica and Pentax. I suspect the GW690 may become my walkaround MF.
Nice selection. Hope you share some captures from the new acquisition!
GW690 :-)
W !!!!! That Rawks !
Can’t think of a better reason to get some film and chemicals. No Leica, Blad, etc etc could ever tempt me.

I have some 120 in the freezer and just ordered more from B&H.

My workaday cameras were whatever necessary while my personal snappers were similar to your new baby, but I never snagged one. It was always rare and too pricey. I always bought my personal snappers as used.

My best snags were a Mamiya Press with a 63mm, always wishing for the 50mm, plus a pair of wide angled Graflex XLs with 58mm and 47mm lenses.
I always shunned 6x7 in favor of 6x9, and even had a 6x12 back for the Graflexes. I even managed to put a 47mm on two different 4x5s.
Also had a Blad SWC as a workaday and often “borrowed” it over to the personal side ... great camera, but not a 6x9 :-(
The first half of the Gas attack arrived and is loaded with Tri-X for tomorrow. It is such a change from today’s cameras— No battery no meter. Just load with film and use. Only settings are aperture, shutter speed and focus, which is by rangefinder. And one fixed VERY SHARP 90mm f/3.5 lens.

Here’s one of them. ALMOST SOOC, just a little touch up of the black point and contrast. This is on Tri-X at box speed, processed and scanned by The Darkroom in San Clemente. Fujica GW 690 (90 mm lens).
