Nikon has the Z cameras on sale - with lenses! Will I be able to resist? Betting is now open.

While I have 2 Z bodies with no complaints, the price reductions themselves aren't big enough to be the deciding factor.

I bought my Z6 early just to see for myself what mirrorless was all about. However I will bet that if you take a look at the Z50 with the 2 lens kit you will have yourself an early Christmas present.

I'm very much considering the new Nikon Z6 II. I have read that its dual processors have improved autofocus performance over the original Z6. It also now has dual memory card slots and is compatible with a new vertical grip. I had rented the original Z6 and liked it a lot. I think I would go ahead and fork over a little more for the improvements in the II model.

Agreed.

My usual rule is to buy the superseded model at clearance price, but thaz usually a mark2 or mark3 superseded by the intro of a mark3 or mark4. OTOH any mark1 is too close to a beta test for me.

I’m the very opposite of an Early Adopter. Let someone else sing those blues.

You balked at $3.99 s&h a short time ago. I am betting against you making the purchase. If I am wrong I hope you enjoy it.

Jerry, if you have not used a mirrorless camera before rent one before you make a final decision.

You really need to ask Paul in Chicago. He will probably say, "Grasshopper, a new camera will change your life"!

Glad I'm not tempted. No need or desire.
