Looking for help to adjust sky replacement over a mountain horizon. The feature does well on flat or broken up/ partly obstructed horizons. Follow the horizon and you will see clouds overlaying the mountains, especially in the upper right under the evergreen. I've worked the blend and adjust levers but can't seem to get a good result. Any thoughts?

My thoughts, photograph what's there. Quit trying to fool people.

You-Tube has videos, but click here for the Skylum community blog and what appears to be information about your specific issue.

Can you post the original image just prior to the sky replacement with store original?

I know it doesn't answer your question, but I popped your photo into Photoshop 2021, and it replaced the sky very well. I won't post it, as that's considered bad form without your OK, but if you have PS21, you could give it a try.

Appreciate the effort. I expected another program would do better but L4, for now, is my go-to as it came bundled with the camera I bought. I'm working more on exposure and composition and just pressing buttons on L4 for touch-ups to suit. Any software can send you down a rabbit hole that I want to avoid for now. Thanks!

Could you just increase the contrast of the original, that might give the AI more information to deal with for the application of the new sky. Then selectively reduce the contrast on the foreground to bring it back to the original contrast... Just a thought, I don't use Luminar or do many sky replacements, but it should help the AI with the low-contrast far mountain/hill interface.

I downloaded your original . Opened it in PS ( I have the latest version ) I clicked on filters -camera raw - dehaze and moved the slider to the right until the photo looked close to yours - then I moved the texture slider to the right some - clicked ok to apply . Which allowed the color to show thru the mountain range some . Now I clicked on filters again - Skylum software-luminar 4. I then picked a sky , clicked apply , and and it applied only to the sky , You can try this to see what you come up with , and make any minor adjustments in PS

I believe it is called artistic license. We are not trying to fool people, but to invoke an emotional response, you see, that is what makes an out standing image, when you can get an emotional response from the viewer.

The new sky is to intense. Reduce the blue, increase the exposure to better match the foreground.

Sky replacement is a nice tool, but like all tools it takes time and practice to use to it fullest.
