This morning it is -2˚F! Brrrr! So I was at a men’s Bible study group this morning and when we were done, this was the view from the deck of the building. The tall mountain on the right is called Pioneer Peak, at 6600’ and rises from sea level. To the left, in the distance, but not visible is Knik Glacier. The mountains are all snow covered and will remain so until next May. I thought that this was a pretty nice sunrise coming up over the mountains. I was stuck with the foreground, unfortunately. I also did some minor cropping to get rid of a pesky tree on the left. This was tricky light, but I thought the iPhone 11 handled it fairly well.

Thank you very much. Yeah, I’d say it was inspirational. God is a great artist! The light was pretty special, I thought.
Handled the snow very well contre-jour, for sure. Nice capture. Please stay well and keep on sharing.

Thanks. I had to zoom in slightly to bring the mountain in tiny bit closer, and then I cropped the left side of the picture to get rid of a renegade spruce tree. The result was the snow on the mountain slope is slightly smeared it you expand the picture.
Sweet colors in that sky! I hope you post more scenic images from the world you live in.

Thanks, Fstop. Winter sunrises are pretty nice up here when the sky is clear. Even better when there’s a few clouds. Happy to share.

What a nice view of God's creation after bible study. Oh, and your camera captured it well.

Thank you very much. Yup, He does a great job. I’m considering the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It could replace a couple of my cameras.
