NY Times, just now:
Migrant children from other countries have been handed off to authorities in Mexico in an apparent violation of U.S. child welfare policy.
Friday, October 30, 2020 1:11 PM EST
U.S. border authorities have been expelling migrant children from other countries into Mexico, violating a diplomatic agreement with Mexico and testing the limits of immigration and child welfare laws.
The expulsions, laid out in a sharply critical internal email from a senior Border Patrol official, have taken place under an aggressive border closure policy the Trump administration has said is necessary to prevent the c****av***s from spreading into the United States. But they conflict with the terms upon which the Mexican government agreed to help implement the order, which were that only Mexican children and others who had adult supervision could be pushed back into Mexico after attempting to cross the border.
The expulsions put children from countries such as Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador at risk by sending them with no accompanying adult into a country where they have no family connections.
Shame on anyone that thinks this is OK.

NY Times, just now: br br Migrant children from o... (
show quote)
Shame on anyone who thinks it's OK for the parents to be sending these children to attempt to cross the border, and not expecting bad consequences! Would you do that to your children?
Assign the correct responsibility first. America is not the nursemaid of the world. First we have to safeguard our own country, the place where you and I and our kids live. If you don't have borders than you don't have a country. And then you won't be able to help legal immigrants.
A person, a leader, should be judged by their reaction, the manner in which they choose to react and deal with a situation; not blame the circumstances which created that bad situation.

Yeah, and you certainly are thick skulled... Anybody who would v**e for Clinton can't be too swift, and then your party gives us a guy suffering from dementia... Now you want to suggest to me that I somehow don't know the score, believe me friend, I am better informed than you are.
