Fstop12, thanks for setting up this new group!
Although I have some great Fuji mirrorless cameras and lenses, I’m constantly amazed at the quality of the images I can take with my iPhone. They just get better and better, and I think in 10 years will be the de facto standard for most photography.
Here’s an image I took with my iPhone 8+ in Kiel, Germany. The German U-995 U-boat from WWII, now a museum (edited in Snapseed).
Can’t wait to get the new iPhone 12 Pro.

Thanks. BTW, I had a 12 X 18 metal print of it made through Bay Photo, and it came out great.

Did anyone else notice the new Leica? It is a smartphone camera. It edits and posts to social media all from the camera.

I think they already are the standard for most people especially the younger crowd. Not only replacing cameras but computers too. My 42mp phone is so versatile with its 4 cameras on my next vacation (sans Covid) the FF Sony will stay at home.

I like that shot. Very dramatic in black and white. In fact, I’m beginning to like black and white more and more. Thanks for sharing.

Your submarine photo kicks butt no matter what camera was used.
