Fall Colors from the Mountains.....
Just returned from a 5 day trip up into the Blue Ridge Parkway area in North and South Carolina. Visited an old hedge Hogg forum friend from my macro days. Geff aka Blurryeyed was gracious enough to let me visit his new home in North Carolina. Wonderful host and home and big ass dog... With Geff's help I was able to see a lot of the out of way places that really makes a trip that much better. Anyway here's a few of the images captured. I've got lots more and will post later today. Happy Photography, Everyone.......
Beautiful images, but the colors seem rather drab when I opened them I think this is because how you uploaded them. I had the same problem till I was told to export the image in PS as a legacy file sRGB.
Great shots. I've been down the Blue Ridge Parkway a couple times and I love the mountainous southern states. Not that far off the parkway is Luray Caverns in Virginia which is beautiful.

The coloring probably represents reality closer to most fall images that in my opinion are overly saturated.
Beautiful journey, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful colors and nice compositions.
Beautiful renderings of exquisite Fall scenes. Great compositions, natural colours and sharp focus makes these very easy on the eye. Love the shot of the burnt (?) trees starkly contrasting the gold surroundings. Plese stay well and keep up the good work.

I think you've got it wrong. It would be unwise to presume that all photogs edit everything.
A very attractive set! I like all of them.

All nice pix BUT I particularly like the third one; just hit me the right way!

Nice photos, Martin, but the colors don't compare with the ones we used to enjoy in and around Lake Placid, NY when living in Saranac Lake, NY. We've been residents of lake Placid, FL for the last 16 years.
I guess that makes us neighbors.. Been here in Lake Placid Florida for the last ten years or so..
Really very nice. Great composition.
