My name is Roger. To help minimize my camera loads, I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 9900 a few years ago, but have not found it to be very easy to use. Does anyone have any suggestions for simple to understand help. Thanks Roger
Have you tried reading your manual, Nikon and UTube videos??

Roger,
Modern cameras have a lot of features. START shooting in Automatic mode and you'll get many nice shots. That is, start simple. Take a lot of pictures - experiment. As you move along, you will get progressively better. Be patient - start at the beginning.
Watch youtube as others have mentioned.

I downloaded the Nikon manual when I purchased a used S9600.Just go to the Nikon site. Should give you a good starting point along with YouTube and practice practice practice.

What don't you understand? There's a bunch of features on my coolpix b700 that are hard to understand, but I don't really use many of them. The essentials are adjusting the iso, aperture, shutter speed, I use center point auto focus. I set the picture quality and video for the highest available quality. I really don't need to know anything else. If I need to know a specific feature I look it up in the online manual or on youtube. In a real pinch I can post a specific question right here on UHH.
