Jerry, PP is of no use here. It's a live meeting via computer. The camera being spoken about is the one embedded in the 'puter.

Thanks for all the replies....

Turning the screen brightness down seems to help.

But, what just occurred to me is, we don't know how she appears to others on ZOOM. I think that's the important concern.

Her image in the little box on her screen should be how she looks to other viewers except they are controlling their own screen brightness settings. I think the idea of turning her brightness down was so she was not illuminated by her own screen. It's better to have her illuminated by a normal white light behind the laptop and to one side of the laptop, that way the light source is not colored as much by the very near light shining on her face from the laptop screen.
