Photoshop 2021 issue

Recently updated Photoshop to the recently released newest version. Have never had any previous Photoshop issues. Program opens but whenever I try to open a photo (any photo) or complete any instruction (even close program) I get the following message “could not complete your request because of a program error“. I have uninstalled and reinstalled still not working. Any thoughts?

I've used chat support. You don't always get the right person at first but they switch you up until you eventually get help.

Thanks for the encouragement, I guess that is where I may end up. I always hesitate because my previous experiences have always turned into lengthy ordeals. Although, I’m considering waiting 30 days or so until Adobe resolves some of these issues and then I will download once again. In the interim just keep the previously most recent version that I’ve been using.

That's the strange part. I've been using it with no issues, windows 10. I'd think they don't have multiple versions. So things to try would be to check your graphics processor see if it is on Adobe's list, maybe run an update on the driver,
Maybe reset the photoshop preferences to default.

The PC is getting old (6years) and I suspect the graphics card could be the culprit. Will dig into the suggestion. Thanks.
