The photo of the Blue Heron had a very washed out background. The Topaz Sky Replacement just came out. Thought I would give it a try. In my humble opinion, I think it looks good.
IMO the sky looks great. Wasn't aware Topaz had sky replacement software but I get good results with Luminar 4.
Looks good - pity you did not share the download.
It seems that photography is gradually becoming more sedentary with emphasis on reconstructing images with pieces of other photographs and other forms of post processing. Personally I’d rather be out in the world looking for scenes of interest and/or natural beauty to capture. While not a purist, I want to spend less time behind a computer, not more. Just a point of view. Frank

Maybe.
Maybe it's because of Covid.
Whose sky is it - one of yours or one of someone elses?

About the best I've seen! Good job.
If I ever do replace a sky, I do it with a shot of the sky that is my own shot. I take lots of shots of skies and keep them for that purpose. Though it does not make my photo an original shot, it's still 00% MY picture. I know some people are against even that but if it belongs to me, I'm just goofy enough to believe I an o what I want with it.
Sorry, but it looks like heron posing in front of a backdrop in a studio. The quality and direction of light is different on the bird and on the clouds.
I agree, CFH. It looks great!
