The lioness picture was taken in the Okavango Delton in Botswana near the camp "Pom Pom" which is the oldest camp and use to be a hunting camp but is now for animal viewing and photography. One of the unique things about the camp is the sleeping accommodations are tents and the camp is open to the wildlife there is no fence around the tent so wildlife come in and out at will. At night when you get ready to leave the main lodge one of the staff will accompany you to your tent with a flash light. They are not worried about lions or leopards but buffalo. That is the one they worry about. Look into the eyes of the lioness they are beautiful.

Super shots - Why didn't you take a close up of a buffalo's eyes so I could look into them like you did with that beautiful lioness??
