I did a little more practice shooting with the borrowed Z7. I'm feeling pretty good about the camera overall. I also wanted to try some close-ups with it, although I forgot my macro lens, so I had to make do. Now I need to decide if I should wait for the Z 7II. They have some bundle deals with FTZ adapter and basic lens. Downloads look good. (#2 was a really cool fungus Ive never seen before) Thanks for looking.
Fran

Seem to have mastered the Z7 pretty quickly. If I were you, I would wait for the Z7II, they will have sorted out most of the bugs on the new version. Stay well and keep us posted.

Thank you, and I'm seriously thinking of waiting for the Z 7II. I do have another camera to use in the mean time

You've captured some great images with the borrowed z7! I'm impressed by the Z series, even though I'm a Canon shooter. My son's friend shot his small family wedding with her z6, and the images were impressive. Undoubtedly the second generation of the z series will be even better.

You have clearly mastered this one, Fran, but since you have another camera with which you have posted excellent work, why not wait?

Fran, you're really going to town with these shots with the Nikon Z7. Great images of the interesting fungus.

Absolutely beautiful images Fran - I think you and the Nikon Z7 or Z7II are going to be very good friends.
