Thank you for this information. I went to Arto and it looks like it is a website where you can purchase or sell art. Do you have the website for the site you are referring to?

I wonder how many artists want to turn their art into photographs.

Johannes Vermeer was pretty close. He purportedly was using a device called camera obscura too.

Best— leave the painting art to true artists. The samples given are terrible!

Hi all! I am looking for suggestions on which program is best for taking a photograph and making it look like a watercolor or painting. Any suggestions? It’s just something fun I’d like to try! Thanks!

Check out Moku Hanga. Japanese block printing. Free ‘n easy.

Corel Painter 2020 works great. Their Painter Essentials is cheaper, but also works well, but doesn't have as many options. Both programs allow you to do both automatic or manual conversions of photos into paintings. I also have Photoshop, but use Painter almost exclusively for what you want to do.

Wow! You got a reply from EL Shapiro. Lucky you. When Mr. Shapiro talks, people listen. We are fortunate to have him onboard.

Hi Aims
I use a couple of programs including Photoshop, Light Room and another. Here are a couple of examples. I'm still learning and having fun.
