Calvin and Hobbes are my without a doubt all time favorite cartoon characters. I have everything that Bill Watterson put out. Thanks to my wife. When he stopped drawing, the world lost a reason to laugh

Don't give up yet. I felt the same way too. Loved Calvin, had a few of his books. Then I found Stephen Pastis and Pearls Before Swine ... been hooked ever since. But I still love me some Calvin every once in a while.

In my family it was the other way around, my kids gave me the three volume set for Christmas last year. We all had a laugh over that
