I just updated PS and looked for the sky replacement tool and it isn't there. Although the update said it would be. I updated and restarted the computer. Any ideas why it isn't there? Thanks.

You seem like an Adobe subscriber. Use a benefit of the subscription and open a technical support chat with Adobe and get an official response and technical assistance on your specific issue directly from Adobe.

Ok how do I do that? Also I just checked the help tab and it says I am not running the current update.

The only thing I might try in addition to this article would be to log out of creative cloud, via the creative cloud app under A for Adobe in your program list. Log back in with your password, then try the update again. Creative cloud prompted me for my password before updating, which it usually doesn't do.

Sure it is. It’s under Edit.

Before you do all that log out of CC and then log back and in see if the update appears.

Also Adobe spreads the updates out over a few days so if that doesn’t work you should get it soon.

I got the message to update and I did. It said all was updated. I restarted the computer and the updates are not there??? This makes sense for me as this was the one I wanted.

I update to v22 of PS CC and the new tools etc are not there. I checked the desktop icon and under help from inside PS and both say I am running v22. I also note that it looks like v21.2.4 is still on the computer. Could that be the reason the update does not show up?

Did it create anew link on your desktop?

On the main menu, does "Plugins" appear between "View" and "Window?" Is there a Filter/Neural Filters menu choice? Is there a Select/Sky choice? If you click on Help/System Info, what does it say?

On my windows desktop (main screen) are the icons I use to start a program.
Some updates install a new icon and keep the old one on the desktop.
Some updates replace the icon start destination with the new program start location, keeping only the original icon.

I believe Elements creates another icon for the new version as I do have icons both 14 and 19. They do run separately.

Update again or look a little deeper in you computer. The update, using the Creative Cloud app, worked for me on a Windows machine and the tools are there.
