OK, I am a bit obsessed with this one at the moment. Combining 4 weeks themes from Create 52 at once: Minimalist, Shadows, B&W & Splashes of Color. (if I am allowed to reverse March 29 to Color within a B&W then it is 5 themes)
And I was really hoping to fit it into the "Sound of Silence" competition Create 52 is now having as you can see in the title. Or if the flowers can represent a neon sign. Well I will have to work on that one. All my ideas involve things I don't have suitable pictures of and can't get there as long as Covid and family life get in the way.
Editing done in Photo Shop and Lightroom. I adjusted things in color, then converted it to to B&W, then used the History Brush to revert the color back to the flowers and used the "burn tool" to darken much of the background to remove most details.
Did I make it into ART or was I just killing time?
The second image is the Out Of Camera to show what I started with.
Canon 6D, Canon 100-400L mk1 @ 250, 1/1000 @ f/8.0, ISO-1000 handheld at about 3:30PM 11-5-2015
Newly reworked in apps I didn't have then.
Very nice, Robert. Exquisitely done.
