For those that still love Ol' Glory, the armed forces, our country, and what they stand for there will always be chills, quivering lips, moist eyes, and a lump in the throat.
My son, in the Army National Guard, has been trained to play at funerals, fold the flag, march in perfect line in relation to the casket. etc. There is a foolproof method that allows them to never miss a note. It's one of the strict requirements (for correct procedure) when burying soldiers. It looked here as though this soldier was actually playing, even though her embouchure is a little lax for a trumpet. Just for reference I played a baritone or tenor tuba in band.
Heard it for my Grandfather
Heard it for my Father
Hope when my time comes they won't forget.
