This is a lovely shot. The colors are warm and inviting and it is nice to see old structures that are not in decay!

Thank you mt and I smell "bull"...you didn't include chickens or a few ranch dogs to keep the coyote and bears away!!

Beautiful shot, Jim, not the "usual" Mormon row photo.

Beautiful photograph, Jederick. I'll take that one. The Park Service shouldn't mind. I'll leave it to them in my will and thirty years from now they will own it free and clear.

Its yours Chief...I've made the arrangements only stipulated 35 years...you have a long time left and will wear several shutters first!!

Great composition and rendering. Sharp and well exposed. Like the aspect ratio, which is totally appropriate for the scene. Well done. Please stay well and keep on sharing.

Appreciate your generous comments, Ourspolair and, I think you covered all the bases!!

Many, many thanks, Stan. Forgot to mention in the intro that the Rockerfellar's provided a substantial sum so the N.P. system could augment and continue their purchases before developers jumped in.

Thin the N.P. may be using this facility for some purpose and maintain the property. Thanks for your wonderful insight and comments, Carol!!

Thanks, Mike...agree but I did take those shots!! However, the low sun angle illuminated this scene so well I went with it.

In the early days of Grand Teton N.P., the National Park Service was in the process of buying many of the ranches within the Park boundary. They are still in this process and I believe there are ~75 ranches or cabins remain to be ultimately purchased when available. I visited a few of the ranches/guest ranches on our recent trip to GTNP. This is one of the more common ones and is found on Mormon Row across from the south "Mormon Barns".

Great image!!! Jim
