Shooting old d300. Have a 2x N-AFd 2x kenko-Tokina teleplus connected to 70-300mm nikon lens. When I set it in live view the shutter fires almost as soon as it's turned on. I need to be able to use + focus button for better focus and can't use because of shutter almost instantly firing. Took 2x off and no problems with it, I can stay on live view as long as I want. Any ideas hogs? Thanks Bryan
I don't believe couplers will work with the 70 - 300. At least I couldn't get my 70 - 300 to fully work when I had a D300,
Has this combination worked properly in the past? I had problems in the past with my D300 not working properly with electrically connected 3rd party accessories (battery grips in particular). Also...after the shutter fires, what happens next? Does the camera then work correctly allowing you to do a second exposure on your timing?
Never worked. After it fires it just goes into ready to shoot again mode, no way to take another shot . Thanks for your help. I'm buying a d750 and hopefully it will work with a newer camera.
