Im in australia and been involved with photography for many years. Im interested in people ,close up(macro) but apreciate any photo well done. I enjoy working out how that photo was done,that way I learn from some one elses experience.. but I also enjoy working out the tec points on how to get that efect or this one. I do use photoshop sometimes ,BUT I came from the ''old school'' who worked with film,developed their own photos. And in those days you had to concentrate in being correct in the first place.(really nothing has changed)
My equipment ranges from Hasselblads toNikon D800,D90 as well as a lot of bits and pieces that you colect over the years.

I dont/havent taken any ..what you would call tourist photos.. even when Ive traveled overseas I took mainly people,.rather than buildings etc.I enjoy taking people from other coutries or in national costumes.

these last few were taken yesterday at the MOON festivial. Just a bit of cropping done no other work done on them. of course the dancers were moving but I think it makes them look alive what do you think?
