I purchased this lens for $20.00, shipped free. It is an old Minolta 80-200mm f4.5-5.6 XI. It weighs 10 oz.
This image is a crop of 1/3 of original area. It was taken with my Sony A65 at f8, iso400, 1/800. This lens must be the buy of the century. Sure it's slow, but the light weight and overall Q is it's best feature. The distance to subject was 70 ft.

Minolta made some good glass in it's day. I have some really nice ones I use on my Sony A7II with Sony's adapter and on my Sony A58, no adapter needed for it.

I also have lens from a Minolta lenses from Maxium 7000 that I bought in the mid 80's and I use it on a Sony 550 I bought from KEH. I love it the auto focus work fast and pictures are good. I have been using Canon's for over 20 years. but if I was to buy new again I would have to check Sony out.
