Back in 1999 one of our fences came down from a tree that fell across it during the night. I spread the blanket on the ground with some toys and a drink a put baby Cody on the blanket under a tree as it was a hot day. Our two horses at the time walked right over to him and sniffed him gently and both stayed at the edge of that blanket like they were protecting him while we finished repairing the fence. We kept a good eye on him at all times and when Cody would try and crawl off the blanket the horses would both gently nudge him back with their noses back onto the blanket. I was amazing to watch these large animals being so gentle with him.

Took a rainy day walk this afternoon and when I saw these flowers growing in rocks I did not bother them because flowers that grow in rocks are a lot more tougher then me.
Seasons and life, they both end eventually
