Woodenshoe Arch was shot a little ways away from the pullout marked "Woodenshoe Arch Viewpoint" along the Needles' scenic drive, APL. (Cottonwoods --here and there-- are doing their golden-yellow 'colorful' thing about now, and (among other things) I wanted to see/shoot a few of those in what is otherwise (by some) considered 'Color Country.' On a severely infested tourorist-heavy Sunday, no less.)
The only cheese box I know of is well south of the Park, south of the Abajos/Elk Ridge. (Myself, I don't have a cheese box per se; I either just eat the stuff or put it in the 'fridge until it gets eaten.) Hiked a bit of that area, down below Cedar Mesa and around Cheesebox Canyon and White Canyon and some of the territory west of Natural Bridges Nat'l Monument and on up toward Hite, so I'm limited in the intricacies of cheese boxes. But yes; I do have a shot or two of 'The Cheese Box' --a.k.a., Cheesebox Butte-- on film. They're sorta boring.

I don't know why but the picture of the fence stopped me in my tracks. Now I know there is someone else that see with my eyes. Thank you for more wonderful work.
