Veterans are NOT takers Mr. Romney!

Take a few minutes to watch this video of Senator Jim Webb. The original is from msnbc, It shows the difference between what Mitt Romney was doing and Senator Webb during Vietnam.

It has a few minutes of Lawrence O'Donnell, but watch it all the way through to Senator Webb's speech, well worth a few minutes.

Veterans are not takers, they are givers.

"Not only did they pay...They will not say this, I will say this for them, They are owed."

You know, I am a vet and I also went to nam. I was proud to serve my country. I would do the same again but that was then. Now it seens that we are on different sides of a fence. You see, I am more against Obama than I am for Romney. You should be more concern with whats going on in this country now. Oh sure, you are for Obama, so it appears but remember, not all vets think as you do. I am not saying you are wrong, you just don't speak for all of us.

I've reached the point that if they didn't have the "stones" to serve on full time active duty for the Republic, they aren't qualified for my vote. That's applied to every elected office!

And just so y'all know, I served 25 years full time.

So I guess you won't be voting? Sence the other slimey candidate has no military experience; yet lay around the campus dorms smoking pot and a little 'blow' while playing pocket pool and sucking on the teet of Bill Ayres and listening for years of Jeremiah Wright's "God Damn America" sermons.
Yes, I'm a veteran (with disabilities), and will be proudly vote for Romney!

As a college student Romney had no problems protesting the anti-war, anti-draft protests that were taking place on campuses, but ducked out of the country for over 2 1/2 years. Basically saying... Yes go ahead and draft 19 year old college guys, but I'm not going to be around anyway. The least he could do, THE VERY LEAST he could do is acknowledge the men and women that served and are currently serving.... Stop defending him. Because in a year or two he may be wanting to send your Grandchildren into war.

There are many reasons to vote for Obama (in your dreams) but I find many more reasons to not vote for the man. Are you losted in the sixties? Man, find your way home. This is 2012, its a lot different now. Vote for who you want, it is your rights. I am (for Romney), that's my rights.

You may be willing to give him a pass on his draft avoidance, not me. Besides my Grandson will be 18 in about three years, just in time for Romney to ask him to go fight another unjustified war. Vote the way that you intend to, I'm glad we can each do that.

Your mind will not likely be changed with any argument presented. However, consider this viewpoint:
If for no other reason, look at the financial disaster facing our country today. If federal spending continues (including income distribution for those who will not work because of generous federal handouts) your grandson, at 18 in three years, may well have only muslim sharia law under which to live. Is that a choice you'd like???

Lets place the blame for this countries financial condition squarely where it belongs, the voting public! The voters keep sending the same incompetent idiots back to congress. If they hadn't the stones to serve I don't vote for them either. This year I'm so fed up that I'll not vote for any person wanting to be re-elected.
