I think the point or question is does the viewer find a woman's pubic hair offensive. Must a woman use a propane torch to burn the bush? I think no. Remember the shaved stubble can irritate you when kissing.

I recall in the movie group in collage there was a Polish film and when the woman hugged her lover... Yep she had pubic hair under her arms.... I recall doing a double take at that image... that was 64 years ago!!

I think they work in tandem. After viewing the first, as a composed prelude, the second opens up with a wild explosion of unruly pubic hair. The tension created by this is a story that can be very interesting. I get it!
