Had a visitor in my back yard just hanging out ( I think he was checking out my koi fish ) but he did nothing just posed for me first time I have ever been this close to a big hawk about 35 feet away, probably never again... Mike

Super shots - Great focus and even good composition which is tuff to get in wild life. But I don't think it's a red tail. Red tails have a speckled belly band. They also have a short wide tail. I'm just going by the breast which is completely speckled and the long narrow tail all which a Cooper's Hawk has. Just a guess But your photos are excellent, like you say probably never again.

You might get more images as long as the Hawk feels safe, I don't know what Koi cost the loss of one or two might be worth the possible images.
