Found this in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Used focusing rail to gather 21 images and combined using Helicon Focus. This flower is smaller than the finger nail on my pinkie.

Just a tiny bit of ghosting (edge of petals) upon extreme magnification.

Even though I used no flash? I'll try any suggestion-- especially by someone who does such excellent work. Your insects stacks are phenomenal. Thanks for the suggestion
-- and thanks to all who commented. Usually, due to even the slightest breeze, I'd not try this in the field. My other flower stacks (my avatar, e.g) were "studio set-ups".
