If ever in the area, this is a special place. Wilmington, NC
Very nice, Bill. Lovely gardens there. And, if you enjoy that kind of thing... Brookgreen Gardens in Murrell's Inlet, SC (just South of Myrtle Beach) is a "Don't Miss". It would be a day trip from Wilmington. 👍🤓👍
Beautiful, especially 3 & 4.
Beautiful. Especially like #3 and #4. Stay well and keep up the good work.

Take NC 133 south out of Wilmington towards Southport. Look for Plantation Road exit and take that to Old Brunswick town. If you like colonial historic sites dating back to the 1700's you will love this area. This is also the site for St Phillips Anglican Church, where the original walls are still standing. There is a plaque inside the church that explains the origin of Brunswick Town, prior to the Revolutionary War. The State is slowly digging the buried foundations and restoring the town buildings. It is a great day trip and you should enjoy the rich history of your new state.
Also check out Manteo and Roanoke Island, where the 1st English settlement was in 1584.
Then you can also go to Pender county, Burgaw, to visit the Battle of Moore's Creek Bridge. A very important Revolutionary War battle site
