In a recent post I included a couple of photos of two Great Blue Herons competing for a meal...a fairly large rodent...captured in the local grasslands and carried down to the water of the Bolsa Chica wetlands. There seemed to be quite a few viewers who were interested in the story and pictures, so I thought it would be fun to share the full sequence of pictures I captured of this event... Here you go.
