To All My Friends On UHH,

I purchased my first digital camera after I retired and established a happy and healthy routine of daily walks with my camera. I joined UHH seven years ago to share a few of my images and meet new friends. The photo gallery has met my needs perfectly and I’ve been very happy here ever since.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve faced numerous medical challenges that have diminished my mobility. I’ve now reached the point where I can no longer take my daily walks with my camera. I’ve given thought to posting from my archives but realize the main purpose and pleasure of my photography is my walks.

With deep regret, I’ve decided to withdraw from UHH. Any passive involvement would change a once happy experience to a sad one. My deepest thanks to all my friends who have brought me so much happiness. A special thanks to Linda, Carla, Sylvia, MT, Jim, Mike, James, John, Ernesto, AP and Randy.

Your Photo Buddy,

John

John,

Sad image of a cemetery. Is that your final resting place at that church? Stay safe. Stay healthy and hand around for a while. Stan

My condition is progressive so my choice isn’t really optional.

Time it was
And what a time it was
It was . . .
A time of innocence
A time of confidences

Long ago . . . it must be . . .
I have a photograph
Preserve your memories
They're all that's left you

This just happened to be the last picture I was able to take with my camera, Stan. No connection other than I loved taking pictures of old New England cemeteries.
