classic back when mercedes looked like mercedes. Today you can't tell a mercedes, a bmw or a chevy apart. I had one of those ( as a matchbox car) when i was a kid.

My neighbor was selling one like that about 40 years ago. I would have bought it, but he wanted to be paid. :D Very nice car.

It could be Lake Winnipesaukee, and people tend to drive "special" cars and boats in that region during the summer. They have an Antique Boat Show and a Classic Car Show.
