Blurryeyed, you have created a mess. I have to find and photograph these guys. You should have never teased me with all your photos of these guys taken with the reverse lens. Love the eyes and little fuzzy paws. See, now I just said fuzzy, almost as bad as cute.. Hope you enjoy

Nice captures fstop22.

Today, when I opened my truck door, I saw what looked like a "bold" jumper . It came running out from behind the front fender, showed himself for a second and then turned around and ran back. Getting ready now to take him for a ride in to town.

I did not see these until just now! Those are excellent shots! You really did a great job with these, very impressive. Most really good shots of these guys that I have seen have been done with reversed lenses with extension tubes... So for you to get shots this good with just a macro lens I think is really great. Personally I like these shots more than any of those you have posted the last few days... I believe that the first one is a Hentz.

Every time I pick up my camera and walk out the door I am hoping to get a chance to shoot a Jumper....

Now that you are hooked it is time for you to get addicted... This is the photostream that did it for me.. After looking at this guys work all I ever wanted to shoot after that was Jumping spiders, but it looks like you are finding some great ones...

Yes, I found this website a few weeks ago, this guy takes some amazing shots. His set up for most photos is the 50mm reversed on tubes. Some are single shots and other great shots with 5 or 6 photo stacks. He also has some great links for and about spiders and robber flies, excellent link.
I'm really surprised at the DOF in these shots. Put it's really an illusion as these spiders are so small. I can't even see the colors in the face with the naked eye. Thanks for the Positive feedback Blurryeyed. I found these all on a wooden and stucco building near a boat ramp. Again on a manmade structure.

fstop, you are just kicking the ball down the road, now I have to find a jumping spider, and with fall coming on it is progressively difficult. Thanks a bunch!!
