Living in the beautiful state of Alaska has its ups and it's downs.
My usual source for Nikon batteries (B&H), will not ship them here as it needs to be delivered by air. This seems to be standard operating procedure for li-ion batteries lately. With no camera store in my vicinity, getting Nikon brand batteries is impossible. There is 1 retailer Batteries Bulbs + that can order batteries but it is the Duracell brand. The Nikon EN-EL15 specs are: 7.0v, 1900 mAh, 14 Wh.
The Duracell: 7.4v, 1600 mAh,
11.8 Wh.
Is the Duracell okay to use in my D810 a d D750?
My preference is Nikon but in the absence of availability, what can I do.
Thank you for your electrical expertise.
I think it's OK to use the Duracell. The specs doesn't mean much as they can be stated differently depend on how they test them. I would use Nikon battery but in your case I would take the Duracell.
I’ve worked at Batteries Plus for over 7 years & used our Duracell branded batteries in my Alpha850 with no problems. Some have a lower mAH rating than the manufacturer’s batteries so, you won’t get as many shots as with OEM buy, they should work just fine. Federal requirements mandate that lithium batteries go by ground transportation. You can take them on an airplane but they have to be in your carry-on bag.

Does Amazon deliver to you? Yes, you can use the Duracel with slight performance degradation
When in doubt, always use OEM. It is smart insurance to use components designed for your $3000 piece of gear. Off-brands are not tested to work as intended by Nikon's power management system.
Meh! Been using Wasabi for years, no issues and a better compact charger with Automobile and European options. Can't tell if it is Nikon or Wasabi in use.

I agree. Nikon accessories are obscenely expensive. I've been using non-OEM batteries, battery grips, flash units etc. for years with zero problems.
I have used Duracell batteries for centuries. They stand behind their product with a super warranty. During the few times I have needed assistance, they were right there and even replace the cost of an expensive strobe. ($400) once. You can trust them.!

Some non Nikon batteries are not recommended for some Nikon bodies.
I found 4 Nikon Authorized Dealers in Alaska. I am sure one of them can mail you a battery.
Alaska Camera in Fairbanks
Harry Race Pharmacy and Photo in Sitka
Rapid exposure in Denali Natl. Park
Stewarts Photo Inc. in Anchorage
Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.
I've used generic batteries in everything forever - no problems.
Per your title, Nikon is OEM for your camera.
Here's my take selecting between OEM equipment and other manufacturers. If something were to happen to your camera as a result of a battery issue, using a second source battery may negate any warranty that exists. It might even cause the manufacturer of the camera to refuse to do the work or charge outrageously for the work.
There will be many replies stating I use "umptyump" batteries and have never had a problem. So, the choice is yours. Personally, I'd use only, in your case, Nikon branded batteries. You may have to get creative in how they are delivered. Such as, have a friend located in the contiguous 48 purchase the batteries and ground ship them to you.

I don't think there is any danger to come from using a Duracell battery in your camera. But...you live in an area where environmental conditions can swing pretty wildly. I would think that the risk is that the Duracell might disappoint you in extremely cold conditions. So if I were in your shoes, I'd at likely at least try first to see if one of my "local" dealers could find a way to get a Nikon EN-EL15b battery for my D810.
You don't say where in Alaska you live, so I don't know if the last leg of that delivery journey might not still be a problem for you with air delivery.
Duracell batteries aren't good as they don't last long. My wife purchases them f/Costco 4 my flashlights & by the time i reach 1/2 the case, the rest are dead?
