Trump assures the country that we need not fear the v***s or let it dominate us, this after he cuts short his stay in the hospital, having been cared for by a team of elite doctors, having been administered a number of the most current drugs, some still in the experimental stage. As long as you have round-the clock secret service attention, 24/7 medical care, no matter where you are on earth, as long as you have absolute, 100% healthcare coverage, and as long as no president has joined a suit to eliminate what healthcare you do have, then his assurances make perfect sense.

I am not alone in my view that his handling of his own illness is a slap in the face to everyday citizens of this country and extremely hurtful and disrespectful to the 200,000+ victims of this v***s and their families. We will not forget, Donald.

If I'm not mistaken, the president, in fact every president and every congress person have this sort of medical attention. Far better than we have.

I don’t think the OP fails to understand the necessary healthcare provided to the President.
This is probably more about the President’s insensitivity and lack of empathy for those that are not so well blessed. Duh!
Remember, Trump does feel better now than he has in the last twenty years.
What a leader!

Are you afraid of driving" The single most deadly thin that people do on a daily basis is drive. the survival rate fir those under 70 is etter than 98% Fear-no Respect Yes

That’s the point trump has displayed no accurate respect for the v***s/ continuing —even after catching it — to not in courage masking and distancing. By his own actions b. He has only displayed disdain for it since the beginning.

I suppose it depends upon how you define, fear and/or respect. I define fear of the v***s--as not going outside--avoidance of any human contact--Total lockdown. Respect--reasonable mask wearing, social distancing- normal commerce-(with few restrictions)

However, Trump never expresses the respect that you mention. He mocks mask wearing. Being fully involved with the v***s as he is, he takes a joy ride around the hospital, pulls off his mask as he poses for a photo op upon his return to the White House, then turns and walks into the building exposing any who are there to his ongoing infection.

About 7million cases. About 200,000 deaths. about a 97% total cure rate. If cancer had that rate no one would be afraid it either. There was no health reason to shut the country down. DEstroy the economy, virtually guarantee a democrat e******n victory other than politics. The most heavily populated states are , for the most part controled by a democrat governor, whi was responsible for thye shutdowns. Those shutdowns ruined more lives than the v***s. If you are below the age of 70 thye survival rate is close to100%. For those under 70 respect isn'teven necessary- perhaps caution would be a better word. Most people don't even get the yearly flu v*****e. Survival rate is also close to 99% Are you afraid of that also? I am over 70. I wear a mask when inside only. Maintain safe distancing also. Other than that my life is fairly normal. The shutdown is startin to relax a little in New Enland

Sad and true.

He is so busy projecting strength (of which he has little) that he is ignoring the risks he puts on his staff.

That's for sure. It shouldn't have even gone that far.

Whenever I leave my house, I am Afraid I might contract the v***s and like the other 210,000 victims, die; or suffer for weeks as tens of thousands have suffered.
That is fear. Play with words if you like, but Trump is doing a disservice to many Americans with his irresponsible actions and statements. To all those that have died, and those that have suffered, and their families; the v***s was certainly something to fear.
Trump and his bravado are typical of a lying, insecure bully, afraid to admit frailty: but it is totally wrong and not that of a leader. In short, he needs to dispense with his ego, and act like a President.
