Took this as a panorama of a long abandoned cottage belonging to the slate workers in Wales. Harsh conditions whatever the weather. Sorry for saying Lake District georgraphy a bit off today lol.

This is a great picture.
I think the cottage would stand out more, if the picture were in colour, even though I love black and white.
To keep it in black and white, maybe crop and zoom a little on the main part of the cottage so that it demands the attention of the viewer.
I absolutely adore the abandoned (much to my family's chagrin). I'd love to see this up close or with the colours to contrast so that it REALLY stands out.

Just my opinionÂ… I love it the way it is, a crop would lose the hills and stormy sky and that really sets the mood. B&W says it best. For color, I guess it would be okay to crop as the focus would be on bringing attention to the buildings instead of using the landscape to help tell the story.

This is a stiched pano shot comprising of 4 shots, I wanted to capture to isoation of where these people worked and lived. Will post some other shots of the scene and colour
