I took these shots today. I don't know why the sight of just a single Monarch has become the norm. Maybe the migration route has changed, but we used to see these by the hundreds not long ago.

Nice shots. The butterfly that has been very scarce in my area this year is the Eastern tiger swallowtail. Didn't get one picture of one this year but possibly would have if I hadn't been laid up for three months.

I've seen very few butterflies this year, Ron, and none since Hurricane Sally's visit. Absolutely beautiful Monarch portraits!!
