I think your "different concept" and its execution is rather neat.

I like the concept a lot
The model is lovely!!!and looks to be really into the shoot, also like the soft colors, but I think the background is a bit busy ( I really hate that word) and the soft focus works ,but it just a little too much for me.

She seems very comfortable with the camera. Very enjoyable series.

Focus these, keep showing your beautiful work with this model, dare to be as risqué as you both would love to dare to be and get ready for greatness. Nice captures!

I like the compositions. When just about everything is out of focus, clutter becomes texture and an abstract backdrop. I also like the color shifts. Model is wonderful. The ball-gag image is sensational.

It's funny how as photographers we come full circle sometimes. I never have developed color film at home. As a kid, just starting out, when I did shoot color, the local drive-up photo place often gave me back results that looked like this; a combination of me botching the focus and them botching the processing. They never seemed to handle roll film very well.

Now we look at images like yours and see the art in purposeful manipulation. Razor-sharp images with realistic color and perfect lighting are often boring. I like these.

I agree with your comment. Sometimes one wants to capture reality as closely as possible (as in forensic photography) but other times one can get more “artistic” with dramatic lighting, selective focus, shooting angle, creative PP, etc. One can also end up with trash if not done thoughtfully.
