Every once in awhile we hear from someone wondering about purchasing used equipment, where to buy it etc. And just as often we hear from folks that have had a terrible experience with a shipper. Over the past few months I have dealt with an outfit called MPB. I sold them a camera and just recently traded a lens for an updated model. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Their payouts are a tad higher than most and they pay promptly. The lens I traded for is just as advertised: like new. They have a really neat way of doing business via internet and traditional shipping, which is via FedEx. I have no complaints about FedEx either. Package arrived on time, which, by the way was fast. All in all, my most recent dealings with both company's rate an A+

Thanks for that evaluation. I am considering selling them a camera and some lenses.

You can't go wrong with them. I trade and bought items from them. In case there is an issue not being happy no problem. They will gladly exchange it or return your money. The main reason why I used them FREE shipping and no tax. These two save me lot money specially when the item is higher in price.

I like the animated C-130 gif you added to the posting.

I crewed as a flight engineer for six and a half years on its Lockheed twin the
Navy P-3 Orion.

I'm not real familiar with your Orion, seem to recall it has the same turbo prop Allison engines as the Herk. I spent 4 years assigned to the E model. Most of that time as crew chief on #877. That aircraft is on static display at Peoria ANG. There is 30,040 hours on the airframe. An amazing piece of equipment.

MPB has been well rated here often, same results for me when I sold them a camera and a few lens. As for FedEx, they deliver 6 MILLION packages a DAY (2 BILLION a YEAR). I would guess they make fewer errors than anyone on UHH. <grin>

No way is it a twin, the Herk can do what the Orion has no chance of ever doing.

I have had the same great experience with mod. Both trading and outright selling. They even ACH the money into my bank account so no waiting around for a check in the mail.

They no have to charge sales tax so that benefit is now gone.

As for me and FedUp, a package can take 3 days to cross the country and then be “Out for Delivery” for 3 days, often with the final result in the attached pic. Luckily, nothing fragile in this one. All my packages go through their depot in West Lebanon, NH. So if you see that on your tracking, just put your hands in your pockets.
