Perhaps some kind of rattlesnake? Photo was taken on Shark Valley Tram Ride February 2020 in Everglades National Park. Yah, I used a zoom lens!

If I had to guess, on the safe side, moccasin.
Stubby tail, triangular head, slit eyes.

That is a water moccasin -- very nasty. Moccasins are pit vipers and the pit is visible in your photo.

It's a water Moccasin(cottonmouth). It has no rattler. It is poisonous.

My guess would be Copper Head. Moccasins don't come in that color. As Bob said it is the kind of snake I leave alone. The main snakes we have to worry about here in Utah are rattlers. Thank goodness I have never run into one. I have had experience with both Copper Heads and Cotton Mouths in South Carolina. I am thankful we don't have them here.

Fascinating camouflage on that guy but not too effective in that particular spot

They can be that color. Without seeing its mouth, I do not know how to differentiate. The two snakes share the same range. Of the two, the cottonmouth has a reputation of being more aggressive.
