Male carpenter bees have yellow, white or cream colored spots on the face, often triangular in shape, whereas the females do not.

Thank you Marg for responding. I believe you're right on the sweat bee. Googled it and looks like it is. The yellow face patch I found out is a male Carpenter bee. Amazing the knowledge out there in Hogland.
