How wonderful it must be to have such a large Attic! We have one, an undeveloped space, we would have it renovated into a useful space but we are old and it would be a costly expense and we really don’tneed the space anymore. It’s just that I love attics! A great choice for this theme, Pat.
Oh, Fred Ann - it has just been so full of clutter and nothing accessible and many things never used anymore. We are old too and I keep thinking it would be my daughter's job to go through it - or we may find ourselves moving to a smaller place - and the time to do it is now before it gets any harder, physically, for me.
Yesterday was foggy and humid but it didn't cancel a date w a friend to just be together and try to capture some foliage. We went to a beautiful cemetery and here are a few captured from one spot.

Me, sit for 30 minutes...I wish.I did go sit in the attic where I have been working for a week now - and have re arranged, thrown out and discovered items never remembered saving. It's still in disarray but two more major sections to go... H-E-L-P!!
Yea!!! Good for you!
Daunting job that is so easy to ignore!! Congrats!!

Thanks, Dane! Appreciate your comments!
While sitting in my car beside my favourite pond admiring the beautiful reflected colours I saw a large white bird! Could it be an Egret? I laughed to myself as Egrets are not common to our area, and all summer long when my husband would see me with my camera and car keys, he would ask, "Where are you going?" and I always replied , "To find the Egret!" Had I possibly found an Egret?! Pictures follow of the colourful pond, the large unidentified white bird , a Kingfisher and a small flock of Canadas.. all seen from my roadside location while sitting in my car!

I'd say you did find one!! We have been seeing them several years now....Guess they like it up North!! Sometimes we even see them by the ocean in the winter! Crazy birds!
This is what I saw sitting on my back porch late yesterday afternoon.

Thank you for your comment Judy, I do hope it was an Egret. I have been returning to the pond every day hoping to find it again! But so far no more seeing of it.
The timing for this challenge was perfect, as I had just gone on a backpacking campout with my son and hiked to the peak of Big Schloss (elev. 2,963') near Woodstock, VA. Since there's not much room on the rock outcropping summit, all of the shots below were taken roughly from the same spot over the span of an hour. First four shots are looking into West Virginia and last three are looking into Virginia over the Shenandoah Valley. The two panoramas are from an iPhone 8 and the rest are from my DSLR. Download definitely required.

I didn't I swear..Move that is or at least my hiney stayed on the Picnic table bench..I did pivot, and and bend a couple of times rotated in a sitting position.
I went to the City Park for these compositions.
What a fun spot to sit. Nice variations.
