I used the photo 'eye tracking' of the Bee to get this photo.
Hand held at 700mm. Distance was 3-4 feet.

Canon R5 - RF 100-500 1.4x (700mm) - 1/800 - f/10 - ISO @ 640.

Outstanding!

Regis you are giving me GAS. But I think I will hold on a bit longer - there are now hints of an "R7" in the works, supposedly a "real" replacement for the 7DII instead of the "almost" 90D.

Thank you very much, Robert. This is a great all-around camera that is easy to use. I just got it 2 days ago, so I am still experimenting with it.

20 years ago I got a Canon Elan IIe with eye focusing. The focus would track your eye & focus where you were actually looking. I really liked that feature, and found it was very accurate.

I really wish Canon had kept up with development of that. If they had, I'll bet that it would be pretty fantastic after 20 years of development.

Well, it will track a bird, bee, dragonfly, dogs, cats, fish, people, etc. So I find this technically awesome, SteveFranz. So far, no other camera can equal this.
