If you are on Facebook, their Marketplace is good and you will get local buyers. Less hassle with shipping etc. Same applies to the Craigslist. I sold my entire Pentax gear to locals through Craigslist.

If you take precautions Craig's List is fine. I use it frequently (just bought a Z7 the other day) BUT be cautious, meet in public places, use your head and you'll be OK. Ebay is pretty secure, but if you're the seller be ready for the 20% hit (that was my last interaction with the "seller" tag, but I buy from there often).

Ebay is 10%, paypal is an additional 3%
